HOW TO
GET HERE...
Currently, the most convenient flights are from London Stanstaed to Bologna
Forlì with Ryan Air.
From Bologna Airport.
Get straight onto the Tangenziale
(green sign) in the direction Firenze/Milano and NOT Ancona/Padova. Take the
last exit before the Autostrada, Uscita 1 (Bazzanese/Porettana). The road
divides almost immediately. Take the left fork onto the Bazzanese and follow
this through Pragatto, Crespellano and Bazzano. Keep left after Bazzano
through Mulino and Savignano until you see a sign for Formica. Shortly after
this turn left for Guiglia. At Guiglia bear left without going into the town
and continue uphill towards Zocca. After about 1 km you will see a sign on
the right for the “Buenos Aires” Restaurant. Turn right just before this
into Via Rocchetta and take the third road on the left - Via Monzone. Bear
right where the road forks and go down a steep slope and up the other side
on a gravelled road until you get to a small group of houses where the road
divides in 4 directions. Turn right to enter the driveway of number 416. The
journey takes about 1 hour.
From Milano Linate,
Milano Malpensa,
Bologna Forlì and
Rimini Airports.
Take the Autostrada in the direction of Bologna and take
the exit Modena Sud (the exit after Bologna in the case of Rimini and points
East, and before Bologna in the case of Milan and points West). Turn almost
immediately left towards Spilamberto. After the traffic lights in
Spilamberto (c 4km) continue straight, then bear left towards Vignola.
Before Vignola (after c 4km) turn right towards Guiglia/Marano and continue
straight for c 5km until you get to the second set of lights in Marano. Turn
sharp left here, over a bridge, and then take the first road to the right.
Where the road forks, keep left up a hairpin bend and continue until you
reach a T junction. Turn right here and bear left past Guiglia towards
Zocca. After about 1 km you will see a sign on the right for the “Buenos
Aires” Restaurant. Turn right just befrore this into Via Rocchetta and take
the third road on the left - Via Monzone. Bear right where the road forks
and go down a steep slope and up the other side on a gravelled road until
you get to a small group of houses where the road divides in 4 directions.
Turn right to enter the driveway of number 416. The journey takes about 3
hours from Milan and Rimini and 2 hours from Bologna Forlì.
